The TsZhKU specialists carried out the repair of the engineering infrastructure of the Leningrad naval base, the steam pipeline from the boiler house, which supplies heat to the ships at the Vostochnaya Ust-Rogatka berth.

The repair work was complicated by the fact that the steam pipeline runs along the bank of the canal named after Peter the Great from the fence that encloses the Petrovsky Dock in the alignment of the bathoport and crosses the roadway.

The repair work of the emergency section of the steam pipeline near the Docky Bridge was carried out within a short time frame in 26 days. As part of the repair work, the traffic on the bridge was suspended for a week. In order to minimize the inconvenience for the residents of Kronstadt, the work was carried out at an accelerated rate. On April 9, the repair of the steam pipeline was successfully completed, traffic on the Dokovoy Bridge was restored.

Since the section of the steam pipeline is located on the territory of the Peter the Great Canal with hydraulic structures cultural heritage site of federal significance, the design and production work was carried out exclusively within the framework of the preservation of the object and with the permission of the Committee for State Control, Use and Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments of St. Petersburg (KGIOP).

Carrying out works, in addition to restoring the supply of steam to the bases of warships, eliminated the threat of destruction of the walls of the Peter the Great Canal, which is an object of cultural heritage of federal significance.
