Employees of the housing and communal service No. 3 of the Northern Fleet branch of the Central Housing and Communal Administration of the Russian Ministry of Defense held a clean-up day at their point of deployment – the city of Monchegorsk, Murmansk Region.

Military utilities have put in order the adjacent territory, as well as the occupied buildings and premises. They swept sidewalks and lawns near office buildings, water supply and sewerage and heating facilities, collected last year’s dry grass and leaves, trimmed shrubs and dry trees, and cleaned the facades of houses. Also, the employees of the housing and communal services painted fire shields and benches, organized the collection and removal of garbage.

All employees of the housing and communal services took an active part in the subbotnik, so the event was friendly and productive. Through joint efforts, the allotted territory was transformed in a few hours. According to the management of ZhKS No. 3, the cleanup unites people and cheers up, and is also an excellent reason to spend time with benefit in the fresh air.
