The teams from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok and Astrakhan were fighting for victory in it.

Practical exercises were performed in a pool adapted for this purpose. The competitions were held in two categories – teams from higher education institutions and teams from organizations and institutions operating remotely controlled underwater vehicles (ROV).

The contenders for the awards had to overcome an obstacle course made of rings at the bottom of the pool, read the inscription inside a model of the Mi-8 helicopter submerged in the water and retrieve the model of a flight recorder from the cockpit to the surface. The panel of judges assessed the speed of the task, the cleanliness and correctness of passing the obstacles. Operators of the ROV had to perform maneuvers in an environment as close as possible to the performance of tasks at sunken objects.

Among the student collectives, the team of the Moscow State Technical University named after N.E. Bauman, who was awarded the Russian Cup. In second place are students of the Astrakhan State University, in third place are representatives of the Northern Capital from the State Maritime Technical University.
