The cadets of the Parade Crew of the Volsk Branch of the Military Academy of the MTO visited the State Historical and Literary Museum – Reserve of A.S. Pushkin. The museum is located in one of the best estates in the Moscow region, known since the time of Boris Godunov. The Museum-Reserve was created in April 1987 on the territory and in the buildings of the palace and park ensemble of the Vyazyoma estate.

The cadets got acquainted with the central building – the manor house, more like a palace. This is the palace of the Golitsyn princes, who lived next door to the Pushkins. We visited the park and the Church of the Transfiguration, where the young poet and his family went to mass.

The guides of the museum told the servicemen a lot of fascinating stories about the times of Boris Godunov and False Dmitry I, the Patriotic War of 1812, L. Tolstoy, N. Gogol, M. Kutuzov, Napoleon Bonaparte and other famous people whose lives are somehow connected with this ancient estate. Also, the cadets got acquainted with the interactive exhibition “Revived Pictures” of historical figures who once visited the estate.
