More than 400 exhibits, technologies and innovative solutions were presented at the exhibition of promising technologies and developments “Innovation Day of the Airborne Forces” by domestic manufacturers and developers. About 45 organizations demonstrated their products at the exhibition site in Ryazan for the first time.
The specialized exhibition was held from 15 to 16 April this year on the basis of the Ryazan Guards Higher Airborne Command School named after General of the Army V.F. Margelova (RVVDKU).
In the course of summing up the results of the event, Lieutenant General Andrey Kholzakov, Deputy Commander of the Airborne Forces for Peacekeeping Operations and Collective Rapid Reaction Forces (CRRF), awarded diplomas to representatives of organizations that presented rich stands and expositions, as well as the most active participants in the scientific and business program.
“I would like to note the increased level of the exhibited samples. Industry representatives have begun to better understand what we need and are actively responding to our comments and wishes. Some developments selected by a special commission of the Military Scientific Committee of the Airborne Forces will be presented at the Army – 2021 forum, said Lieutenant General Andrey Kholzakov in his closing remarks on the results of the Airborne Forces Innovation Day.
The exposition was organized in 8 thematic clusters dedicated to the development of airborne equipment and airborne training, engineering support, diving and special training, weapons, military and special equipment (VVS) for the Airborne Forces, dual-use technologies, communications and automated control systems, equipment equipment and body armor, camouflage equipment, the development of unmanned aviation (UAV).
