The final game of the ice hockey championship of the Murmansk region of the season 2020-2021 was held in the Ice Palace of the city of Murmansk. The team of the Northern Fleet and the KolAtom team from the town of Polyarnye Zori, Murmansk Region, fought for the first place. The sailors won with a score of 9: 2, winning the championship of the Murmansk region for the third time.

The symbolic dropping of the puck was carried out by the commander of the Northern Fleet, Hero of Russia, Admiral Alexander Moiseev and the governor of the Murmansk region, Andrey Chibis.

Already in the second minute of the match, the Severomors broke through the opponents’ defense and scored the first goal. In the second dvadtsatiminutke the atomic lobbyists missed three goals into their gates, the sailors allowed the opponent to break through their defense once. In the final period, the Severomors increased the lead by scoring five goals, KolAtom responded with one.

The awards were presented to the winners and prize-winners by the commander of the Northern Fleet, Admiral Alexander Moiseev and the Governor of the Murmansk region, Andrey Chibis.

The striker of the Northern Fleet national team, Alexei Chernyadyev, was named the top scorer of the championship. The title of the best goalkeeper also went to the player of the naval team Sergey Lazarev.

The fans and the orchestra of the Northern Fleet actively supported the teams, the players of various teams of the Northern Military Hockey League showed great activity in the stands, the hockey players of the K-21 Amazon team gave warm support to the North Sea residents.

Thanks to the joint efforts of the Northern Fleet team and the work of coach Konstantin Ganin, the Northern Fleet team won 10 matches in the Murmansk Region championship this season, without losing a single game.
