Applications for participation in the auction are accepted until April 30, the auction itself will be held on May 7.

The city will lease non-residential premises in the apartment building of I.P. Isakov with an area of 131 square meters. The building is located on Prechistenka street (house 28) and is an object of cultural heritage of federal significance, said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Efimov.

“The premise on Prechistenka is located in a building within walking distance from the Park Kultury metro station. The object has a free functional purpose and will be leased for 10 years. The tenant will be able to open an office, shop or any other commercial establishment there that is allowed to be located in a residential building, ”he said.

The premise is located in the basement of a historic residential building, built in 1906 in the Art Nouveau style by the architect Lev Kekushev.

The house in which it is located is of particular value: the building is an example of the Art Nouveau style of the early 20th century. It is richly decorated with stucco decoration; on the top floor there is a round dormer window framed by two female figures. The facade is completed by a powerful protruding curved cornice. Petersburg merchant Ivan Isakov owned the house before the revolution. Since 1925 there was a housing association, and today the building serves as a residential building.

“Premises in the city center are popular with businesses. According to the results of the first quarter, the city sold 153 non-residential premises for rent, of which 18 were in the Central Administrative District. This year, the competition in tenders for rent in the Central Administrative District is more than 10 participants per lot, which is four times higher than the indicators of the first quarter of 2020 “, – said the head

Moscow City Department for Competition Policy Ivan Shcherbakov.

The winner of the auction for the lease of this object on Prechistenka will have to carry out work to preserve the occupied basement and adapt the object for modern use in accordance with the act of technical condition. The work will be supervised by specialists from the Moscow City Heritage Site.

Applications for participation in the auction are accepted until April 30, the auction will be held in electronic format on May 7. The organizer of the auction is the Moscow City Department for Competition Policy.

The characteristics and documentation of other properties offered for rent can be found at investment portal of the city of Moscow in the section “Rent for business”. Some of the lots are available for viewing online using the “360 degrees” function.
