Tram traffic resumed in the Bogorodsky district on April 19. The track repairs ended ahead of schedule by a day. Trams will run on the same routes:

– No. 2 – from Metrogorodok to the Semenovskaya metro station;

– № 4l and 4p – from the metro station “Bulvar Rokossovskogo” to the metro station “Sokolniki” (circular);

– No. 7 – from Tverskaya Zastava Square to the Rokossovskogo Boulevard metro station;

– No. 46 – from the Oktyabrsky tram depot to the Rokossovsky Boulevard metro station.

Today, several sections of tram tracks in the capital are closed for repairs. It is planned to complete the work on them by May 10. A new approach to the formation of the schedule and intervals of tram movement will no longer allow traffic to be stopped on large sections of the route network and will allow tram infrastructure to be repaired without being noticed by passengers.

Earlier, the movement of trams No. 15 and 28 along Aviatsionnaya Street was resumed to the Sokol metro station and trams No. 30 and 31 running northwest and north Moscow.

Also on routes of the north-west of the capital the latest models of Vityaz-Moscow trams were released. They have more space and wider aisles, bike racks and heated doorways. In addition, low-floor single-section trams have arrived in the city. They will replace the outdated Tatra T3 wagons. They are equipped with an updated climate control system, media screens, USB ports and USB Type-C connectors. The new trams can carry up to 110 passengers at a time.
