During maneuvers at the Luga training ground, servicemen of the Sevastopol Brigade of the Western Military District and the Pechenga Motorized Rifle Arctic Brigade of the Northern Fleet improved their skills in repelling an offensive and destroying strategic targets of a conditional enemy.

The actions of the infantry were supported by artillerymen, who with concentrated fire from self-propelled guns and towed guns destroyed the advancing column of armored vehicles and command posts of the enemy.

As part of one of the stages, for the first time, modified armored MTLB tractors with anti-aircraft guns installed with a rate of fire of more than 2000 rounds per minute were used by servicemen to combat aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles and lightly armored vehicles.

In addition, motorized riflemen honed their skills of firing from standard weapons at emerging and moving targets, blocking a conditional settlement, and landing tactical airborne assault forces behind enemy lines.

More than a thousand servicemen and about a hundred pieces of weapons and military equipment, including Mi-8 combat helicopters, the latest T-80 BVM tanks, Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 2B-11 120-mm mortars, took part in the exercise.
