A feature of the 2021 spring draft, as well as the 2020 draft campaigns, is still holding it against the spread of the new coronavirus infection.
Military commissariats are carrying out a number of measures aimed at preventing the spread of infection among citizens subject to conscription, as well as employees of military commissariats. All these activities have already shown their effectiveness during the period of recruiting events in the spring and autumn of 2020.
When carrying out spring conscription activities, the study of conscripts is carried out remotely, which can significantly reduce the number of visits to the military commissariat.
During the passage by citizens of the medical commission, non-contact body thermometry is carried out, it is mandatory to use personal protective equipment (masks, gloves), both by conscripts and employees of military commissariats.
Before leaving for the assembly point, each conscript undergoes mandatory testing for the presence of coronavirus infection by PCR (without blood sampling). The transportation of recruits will be carried out on vehicles that have passed sanitization.
In all military commissariats, assembly and recruiting centers, daily sanitization of premises is carried out.
In addition, the employees of the military commissariats involved in the spring conscription activities were vaccinated with the domestic drug “Gam-Covid-Vak” (Sputnik V).
Citizens who are subject to conscription for military service in the spring of 2021 are eligible for vaccination at their place of residence prior to conscription or can undergo this procedure upon arrival at a military unit. Vaccinations are voluntary.
Citizens drafted from the territory of Sakhalin, Magadan, and the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug will mainly serve in the formations and military units deployed in the Eastern Military District (VVO).
