The first night training of the mechanized part of the parade dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War took place in Vladivostok. About 60 units of military equipment, including 7 units of historical equipment of the war years, passed along the main street of the capital of Primorye.

This year, the parade mechanized convoy included S-400 and Osa anti-aircraft missile systems, Bastion coastal missile systems, Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and cannon systems, Grad multiple launch rocket systems, armored personnel carriers BTR-82A, howitzers, armored vehicles “Tiger” and modern technical support vehicles.

In addition, at the parade in the capital of Primorye, spectators will for the first time be shown a modern BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle. 40 of these vehicles entered service with the Pacific Fleet Marines less than a month ago.

The training showed a good training of driver mechanics and drivers. The next night training of the mechanized part of the Victory Parade is planned to be held on April 22, 24 and 27. The first joint training session with parade crews is scheduled for April 30th.

It is planned that the parade, which will be held on May 9, will be attended by more than 1200 servicemen of the Pacific Fleet, including battalion and company columns of officers of the Pacific Fleet headquarters, formations of the Primorsky flotilla of heterogeneous forces, naval aviation, as well as coastal forces of the fleet. On the central street of Vladivostok – Svetlanskaya, on Victory Day, ceremonial crews of the Pacific Higher Naval School named after S.O. Makarov, a branch of the Nakhimov Naval School and the Ussuriysk Suvorov Military School, the Far Eastern Firefighting and Rescue Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Far Eastern Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Primorsky Regional Directorate of the Federal Penitentiary Service, as well as the consolidated battalion of the Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University, pupils of the Vladivostok military patriotic clubs united in the military-patriotic public movement “YUNARMIA”. It is planned to attract 1640 people to participate in the parade.

The dress rehearsal for the parade of troops in Vladivostok will take place on May 7.

In addition, an air part of the parade is planned for May 9 in Vladivostok. It will be attended by 23 aircraft of the naval aviation of the Pacific Fleet and the Air Force and Air Defense Army of the Eastern Military District. Training over Vladivostok and the Amur Bay is scheduled to begin after April 26.
