Acceptance of applications for participation in the VI All-Russian festival “Urban space: the view of future urban planners” has begun. Documents can be submitted from April 21 to September 21 on the website GBU “Mosstroyinform”… The exhibition of works and the summing up of the results will be held from 12 to 21 October.

Interesting and non-standard solutions presented at the festival will contribute to the further formation of a friendly and safe urban environment, said the head of the Moscow City Planning Policy Department. Sergey Levkin.

“For the first time, we held a competition among future city planners in 2016, starting with a few dozen works. The number of participants grew every year. In 2020, 48 professional educational institutions from 29 cities of Russia and the Republic of Belarus took part in the event, presenting 367 works in 27 nominations, ”he said.

Applications are accepted from students of specialized educational institutions of secondary vocational education in nominations reflecting different directions of development of urban spaces, said Yulia Kulikova, director of the State Budgetary Institution “Mosstroyinform”.

According to her, college students studying architectural design and landscape design will submit their final qualification works completed over the past three years for the competition. Each participant can submit no more than three works in one or several nominations.
