Vaccinated Muscovites over the age of 60 will be able to receive additional discounts and targeted financial support when purchasing goods and services.

“The Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry contacted me. Business is seriously concerned about the worsening coronavirus outbreak. Because of this, a hard lockdown was introduced in many countries and cities around the world, which caused enormous damage to entrepreneurs. To avoid such a scenario in Moscow, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry proposes to implement a program to stimulate the vaccination of the elderly, for whom the virus poses the greatest threat, ”said the Moscow Mayor.
Vaccinated residents over the age of 60 will be able to receive additional discounts at stores, pharmacies and other consumer market businesses that join the program. In addition, the residents of the capital of the older generation will have access to targeted support in the purchase of goods and services of everyday demand.
Funds for financing the program are planned to be raised through donations from companies that are members of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as other organizations that are subjects of socially responsible business.
“And the Moscow Government will provide all the necessary organizational support. For this we use the infrastructure created last year, when the city successfully implemented the Million Prizes program to stimulate consumer demand, ”added Sergei Sobyanin.

In addition, you can get vaccinated in private medical clinics. Moscow has concluded 112 agreements with commercial medical organizations, 92 clinics have already begun to vaccinate residents. The vaccine itself is free for residents, you only need to pay for the services of the clinic for the administration of the drug.
