More than 1,000 doses of vaccine against the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 have been reserved at the medical center of the Russian military base of the Southern Military District (YUVO) in Abkhazia for spring draft recruits.
All conscripts who arrive at the Russian military base as part of the spring draft will be able to be vaccinated.
When carrying out conscription measures, a complex of sanitary and anti-epidemic measures is implemented, aimed at eliminating the introduction and spread of infectious diseases. Assembly and recruiting centers are provided with medical equipment necessary to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, all employees of military commissariats involved in the recruitment activities have completed vaccination.
Also, all measures have been taken to ensure security requirements and monitor the health of servicemen along the route of military commands and in military units after their arrival at the place of military service.
Earlier, the commander of the Southern Military District, Army General Alexander Dvornikov, decided to increase the rate of vaccination in all military garrisons of the Southern Military District.
For this purpose, more than 20 thousand doses of the vaccine against the new coronavirus infection have been reserved in the medical institutions of the Southern Military District for the military personnel of the spring conscription.
Also, more than 40 vaccination posts have been deployed on the territory of the district, more than 60 vaccination teams have been formed, half of which are mobile. This number provides daily vaccination of more than 2 thousand people both at the base of military medical institutions and in the field.
To date, more than 76 thousand servicemen have completed vaccination on the territory of the Southern Military District. More than 50 thousand specialists of civilian personnel of military units and institutions of the Southern Military District, as well as more than 120 thousand family members of military personnel, have been involved in the vaccination campaign.
