Today, the III All-Russian Scientific and Technical Conference on the topic “State and Prospects for the Development of Modern Science in the Field of Information Security” has started in the ERA Military Innovation Technopolis. At the center of the discussion is the use of modern technologies to improve the security of information processed in automated military systems.
The purpose of the conference is to organize the exchange of information on new scientific and technical developments, search for partners in the field of information security in the interests of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and develop proposals for improving the activities of the technopolis in the area of ”Information Security”.
During the plenary session, Deputy Head of the Technopolis for Scientific and Educational Activities, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Colonel Andrei Morozov noted: “The current stage of development of society is characterized by the increasing role of the information sphere, which is a collection of information, information infrastructure, and subjects. The information sphere, being a backbone factor in the life of society, actively influences the state of the political, economic, defense and other components of the security of the Russian Federation. “
Also at the plenary session were presented reports by representatives of leading research institutes, government agencies and military command and control bodies. They made proposals on identifying vulnerabilities during certification tests, as well as on training cybersecurity specialists.
The conference will take place over two days. The participants will discuss promising approaches to assessing the effectiveness of the use of information security tools, as well as the possibility of using modern technologies to improve the security of information processed in automated military systems. The conference will be attended by 99 people from 35 organizations, including 14 doctors of science and 26 candidates of science.
