The Sochi military commissariat, as part of the spring conscription of citizens for military service, sent the first group of recruits to the troops.

The first group of 20 people went to the Airborne, Railway Troops and Aerospace Forces of Russia.

Seeing off the conscripts took place at the assembly point of the military enlistment office of the resort city. Representatives of the city administration, veteran organizations, the Cossacks and the Youth Army delivered parting words to the conscripts.

The young people went to the duty stations as part of the conscription teams by road and rail. On the way, the teams of recruits are accompanied by representatives of military units and military police.

In total, within the framework of the spring draft, it is planned to send about 400 people to the Armed Forces from the Sochi military commissariat. More than half of them will be replenished with the Ground Forces of the RF Armed Forces.

When carrying out conscription measures, a complex of sanitary and anti-epidemic measures is implemented, aimed at eliminating the introduction and spread of infectious diseases. Assembly and recruiting centers are provided with medical equipment necessary to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, all employees of military commissariats involved in the recruitment activities have completed vaccination.

The assembly point of the Sochi military commissariat is fully equipped with test systems for detecting coronavirus infection and conducting express testing of conscripts and representatives of military units assigned to escort military teams.

Upon arrival at military units, recruits will be able to vaccinate against COVID-19. For this purpose, more than 1,000 doses of vaccine against the new coronavirus infection COVID-19 have been reserved for spring conscription recruits at the medical center of the Russian military base in the Southern Military District in Abkhazia.

Also, all measures have been taken to ensure security requirements and monitor the health of servicemen along the route of military commands and in military units after their arrival at the place of military service.
