Exporters are compensated for up to 80% of the costs of certification of medical products. Such a support program is being prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Russian Export Center (REC).

“Within the framework of a special program, it is planned to compensate up to 80% of the costs of certification in foreign markets for medical products and, depending on the item of expenditure, up to 50% – 80% of the costs of certification of medicines,” said Vice President of the REC Sergey Vologodsky.

Manufacturers of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products are already using state programs for participation in exhibitions and patenting. For example, last year REC supported exporters on patenting issues worth 4.2 million rubles, organized participation in the Arab Health exhibition and an industry-specific business mission to the CIS and Eastern Europe (as a result of the events, 63 contracts were concluded for the amount of 204.3 million rubles …

In 2020, the export of pharmaceutical products exceeded $ 1 billion (+ 24% compared to the previous year), the REC said. The main buyers of Russian pharma are the CIS countries and Europe.
