Volunteering Resource Centers for Safety Culture and Disaster Relief are intended to be entry points for all volunteers in disaster relief, relief and disaster relief. The creation of 10 such centers throughout the country is part of the Education national project. The experience gained over two decades of the North Ossetian regional department of the VSCS allowed to become a center of attraction, training and coordination of volunteer rescuers from all over the North Caucasus. Volunteering is an important link in the implementation of state youth policy, while volunteers in emergencies have their own specificity of activities and needs for organizing the learning process and activities. The volunteers have at their disposal an emergency rescue vehicle, dummies for practicing first aid skills, firefighting and climbing equipment. In the future, on the basis of the center, it is planned to create an independently operating emergency rescue unit in the unified state system for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations (RSChS).

Instead of the usual satin ribbon, a scarlet metal plate was used, which was cut with a hydraulic tool.

– The opening in North Ossetia of the only Volunteer Emergency Support Center in the Caucasus is an important event not only for all volunteers and volunteers of the republic, but also for residents of the entire North Caucasus. Today, North Ossetian volunteers are a well-coordinated and close-knit team that implements large-scale projects and brings bold ideas to life. Congratulations on the official opening of the Center, I wish you new victories, projects and ideas, and you can always count on our support, – said Alexander Khoruzhy, head of the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s Main Directorate for North Ossetia-Alania.
