Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Alexey Overchuk made a presentation of the mobile application “Traveling without COVID-19” for the heads of diplomatic missions of Hungary, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Federal Republic of Germany, the Hellenic Republic, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Republic of Cyprus, the Republic of Cuba, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom Thailand, Republic of Turkey, Republic of Finland, Swiss Confederation and Delegation of the European Union. The event was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.

Alexey Overchuk informed the representatives of the diplomatic corps about the principles of the digital solution and the procedure for its use, and invited foreign partners to consider the possibility of connecting to this digital platform.

The Vice Prime Minister clarified that “I travel without COVID-19” is actively used by citizens of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union to enter the territory of the Russian Federation. The application excludes cross-border exchange of personal data. The digital solution was installed by more than 146 thousand users. Since the start of the application, more than 123 thousand users from the EAEU member states have received test results in the application. In the Republic of Armenia, Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation, 348 laboratories are connected to work with the application.

The event was also attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Alexander Pankin, Head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare – Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Russian Federation Anna Popova, Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Development Bank Nikolai Podguzov and Deputy Chairman of the Board of EDB Tigran Sargsyan.
