Issues of socio-economic development of the region were discussed.
From the transcript:
Mikhail Mishustin: Dear Ramzan Akhmatovich, I want to thank you for the warm, cordial welcome in the Chechen Republic.
We have seen a lot of objects today. We were in schools under construction, looked at a wonderful hospital, a perinatal center. We talked with people, with doctors who work there.
I really enjoyed my visit to Grozny University. Wonderful place, ancient place. I have already said that I had a lot of colleagues from the University of Grozny.
First of all, I would like to say about the caring people who met us, about cleanliness and order, and about the fact that today medicine, education and science are developing very seriously in the Chechen Republic.
I would like to thank you and ask you how things are in social and economic development.
R. Kadyrov: Thank you, dear Mikhail Vladimirovich.
I am glad to once again welcome you to the Chechen Republic. Thank you for taking the time to come and see the sites significant for the region.
We work closely and fruitfully with your deputies and ministers. And we are successfully solving issues of socio-economic development within the framework of state programs, national projects and the Federal Targeted Investment Program. However, we have, as always, a number of issues that need your personal attention and require your help.
We are pleased that you have decided to familiarize yourself with the tasks of the Chechen Republic here on the spot and discuss them directly with us. I would like to note that, despite the pandemic, we managed to maintain positive dynamics. I will not dwell on the key indicators in detail. I know that you are familiar with our figures and data. The Prime Minister and I regularly report on the dynamics of the region’s development.
I am sure that thanks to your visit, thanks to you, we will be able to solve serious, problematic issues that need your personal help, your decision.
Thank you again for coming to the republic and for yourself being able to see where we are doing something good, where we are not working on something. We will improve, we will build for the good of our state.
Thank you so much.
Mikhail Mishustin: Thank you, Ramzan Akhmatovich.
We would also like to inform you today that the Government has made a decision in accordance with all the calculations that we made to allocate funds to the Chechen Republic to ensure budgetary balance in the amount of 3.75 billion rubles. And we will support all the programs that are here.
I would like to draw your attention: the day before yesterday, the President, speaking with his Address to the Federal Assembly, stressed that every region of the Russian Federation has enormous potential. It is great that you are developing this potential in the Chechen Republic. And I want to wish you, the people of the Chechen Republic, good luck, success and prosperity.
R. Kadyrov: Thank you.
