With their help, you can see the faces of medical workers, hidden behind protective masks, who take care of patients every day and help fight the disease.

The Good Badges promotion started in May 2020. Volunteer photographers take photos of doctors who work in the red zones of hospitals. Then personal badges are made for doctors, nurses, nurses and orderlies. During the action, more than seven thousand badges were handed over to medical workers.

“The action“ Kind Badges ”is an important initiative of the capital’s youth. Moscow has always been distinguished by its caring citizens, and this confirms that the action has been going on for a year, both during self-isolation and during the stabilization of the epidemic situation. Badges are a nice attribute for doctors working in the red zone, ”notes

Ekaterina Dragunova, Chairman of the Committee for Public Relations and Youth Policy.

22 hospitals joined the action. More than 50 volunteer photographers take pictures of medical workers in the clean area of hospitals during shift changes. The photographs are then processed and sent to print for the production of badges. They differ in color: red for doctors, blue for nurses and nurses, green for orderlies. Finished badges with ribbons are sent to hospitals.

“I have been doing photography for a long time, but I didn’t take part in such large socially oriented projects before“ Good Badges ”. I saw messages about the search for volunteers on social networks and decided to join the project. At first it was scary, but already on the spot I realized that it was safe, and with my photographs I can contribute to a great common cause, ”says Daria Malysheva, a volunteer photographer of the action.

A “Good Badges” campaign was launched in Moscow in support of physicians

Anyone can join the Good Badges project and become volunteer photographers. To do this, just write about it on the pages of the project office “Youth of Moscow” in social networks “In contact with” or “Instagram”.
