At the main base of the Northern Fleet in the city of Severomorsk, the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, will sum up the results of the interspecific command-staff exercise of the Northern Fleet, which has been held since April 19 under the direct supervision of the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy. The exercise of the Northern Fleet was carried out in accordance with the existing system of staff training and completed a set of measures for operational and combat training of the military command and control of the fleet in the winter period of training.

It involved nuclear and diesel submarines, ships of the Kola Flotilla of diverse forces and formations of missile ships, support vessels, army corps units, aircraft, military and special equipment of the Air Force and Air Defense Army of the Northern Fleet.

In the afternoon, the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, will meet in Severomorsk the frigate “Admiral Kasatonov”, which will arrive from a long voyage, which has become the first in the history of this newest ship. The Commander-in-Chief of the Navy will board, hear reports from the officials of the Northern Fleet and the commander of the frigate on the results of the cruise, and also speak to the crew.

Also, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov will visit the Murmansk branch of the Nakhimov Naval School, where he will check the progress of the educational process and the state of the educational material base.
