We will remove almost 16 kilometers of overhead lines underground, which will improve the visual appearance of the space. A modern stormwater network is being arranged, the project provides for the installation of 96 new stormwater wells, ”he said.
Last year, the section from Bolshiye Kamenshchiki Street to the Kolomenskaya metro station was improved. The works to be carried out this year will be a continuation of the previous project. A comfortable and modern space designed in the same style will be created for the residents of the district. At the same time, the transit function of the outbound highway will be preserved.
As part of the project, the sidewalks will be renewed, part of the pedestrian zone will be paved with granite tiles, and the asphalt concrete pavement of the roadway will be replaced. They also organize convenient approaches to the Danube pond in the Lipetskaya street area.
“More than 700 new lanterns will be installed along the departure highway. Particular attention will be paid to pedestrian zones and ground crossings, where supports with contrasting lighting will appear, – said Pyotr Biryukov. – Modern stopping pavilions will be installed for public transport passengers. It is planned to plant trees and shrubs, arrange lawns ”.
It is planned to complete the main works on the improvement of the Andropova Prospect – Lipetskaya Street section by September.
