A detachment of ships of the Baltic Fleet consisting of the Stoyky corvette, the Kola tanker, the Yakov Grebelsky sea tug and the PM-82 floating workshop, performing the tasks of a long voyage, completed the passage of the Pas-de-Calais and the English Channel. A detachment of ships of the Baltic Fleet left the port of Tartus on April 8 and headed for Baltiysk. The OBK arrival at the main base of the Baltic Fleet is planned for the end of April.

Ships and vessels of the Baltic Fleet perform long-range missions for about four months. During this time, the crews of the Stoyky corvette and the Kola tanker visited the Indian Ocean, where they took part in international maneuvers. In the Indian Ocean, the crew of the Stoyky corvette performed several dozen exercises of various orientations. We visited the ports of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Sultanate of Oman with business calls. The ship’s servicemen conducted maneuvers in anti-aircraft and anti-submarine defense, anti-terror groups worked out anti-piracy exercises. While in the Red Sea, a detachment of ships made a business call at the Port of Sudan for the first time.

A detachment of ships of the Baltic Fleet, consisting of the Stoyky corvette, the Kola medium tanker and the Yakov Grebelsky sea tug, left the permanent base in Baltiysk to fulfill the planned tasks of the long voyage on December 16, 2020.
