More than five million people have already signed up for the project “Active citizen”… Sergei Sobyanin wrote about this in his account on the social network. “In contact with”

On average, several hundred townspeople join the project every day.

“The first million participants joined the project in 2015. In 2018, the two millionth user signed up. In April 2020, there were already three million participants. In general, over the past year, the audience of the project has grown by more than 1.5 times. We are very pleased that more and more Muscovites want to participate in the life of the capital and influence the changes that are taking place in the city, ”said Alexander Pischelko, head of the New Management Technologies State Institution.

It is important for Muscovites to participate in the Active Citizen voting and express their opinion. People join the project because they know their voices will be heard. In turn, the “Active Citizen” project for the city is an important channel for receiving feedback from residents.

For almost seven years, more than 4.9 thousand votes were held in the project and over 156 million opinions were expressed. They touched upon the most important spheres of life – education, healthcare, development of transport infrastructure, landscaping and landscaping of streets, parks, courtyards, embankments. The city implements those options for the development of the given themes, in favor of which the majority of voting participants speak.

What is important for “active citizens” and what changes they have achieved

Since 2014, following the results of voting in the project, the city has implemented more than 3.4 thousand decisions. For example, within the framework of the “Million Trees” campaign, where citizens choose plants for landscaping their yards, over one million 150 thousand trees and shrubs were planted.

In addition, over two thousand Moscow courtyards were improved. They now have modern playgrounds and sports grounds, as well as areas for walking dogs. The addresses of the improvement and their equipment – swings, children’s playgrounds, benches, sports simulators – were chosen by residents of specific districts during the voting in the Active Citizen project.

The field of improvement has always been one of the priorities for the project. Thanks to the decisions taken taking into account the opinions of “active citizens”, the appearance of streets and squares in the center of Moscow has changed. Comfortable pedestrian zones with widened sidewalks for walking have appeared, trees and bushes have been planted, convenient bus stops have been equipped, and much more.

With the help of voting, residents of the capital chose how parks and urban recreation areas would be transformed. For example, the floodplain of the Bitsa River, the Khodynskoye Pole park, the Svyatoslav Fedorov park, the territory near the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center and at the main entrance of VDNKh.

Another important area for voting is healthcare. It was in the “Active Citizen” project that they supported the renewal of polyclinics in a new way. Moscow standard… More than 212 thousand people expressed their opinion. And over 70 percent of them approved the main provisions of the new Moscow standard for polyclinics. In accordance with it, it is planned to put in order 137 buildings. To date, the main work has been carried out in 11 polyclinics.

Also, based on the results of the voting of the townspeople last year, an electronic medical record became available to patients of Moscow polyclinics. More than 80 percent of the participants supported this project “Active citizen”… Now Muscovites can view online at any time doctors’ appointments, prescriptions, laboratory results, tests for COVID-19 and other tests, as well as information on vaccinations.

Questions concerning the work of urban transport are popular among the project participants. Thanks to “active citizens”, nine new bus routes were launched, including three at night. According to the results of the voting, the transport fleet was updated in the project: electric buses and modern tram models began to run along the streets of Moscow. The opinions of the townspeople were also taken into account when choosing the design concept for five metro stations: Stromynka, Rzhevskaya, Sheremetyevskaya, Solntsev and Novoperedelkina.

The project participants helped to solve many other issues in the transport sector. For example, in 2019, the majority of “active citizens” supported the construction Big Circle Metro Line… Comments were made on this ambitious project and a title was chosen new departure line– the southern understudy of Kutuzovsky prospect. According to the voting results, the avenue’s backup was named in honor of the hero of the Patriotic War of 1812 – General Dorokhov.

To increase the interest and involvement of residents in the “Active Citizen” project, various actions are regularly held. For example, “Spring Marathon” allows everyone to test their knowledge of the history and culture of Moscow. Participants answer questions prepared by professional guides and researchers from the capital’s museums.

“The project allows residents and the city to jointly develop the digital ecosystem of the capital. Citizens’ opinion is at the heart of digitalization: we create and develop exactly those services that help residents and are really in demand among Muscovites. At the same time, the capabilities of the platform itself are expanding, in which, together with users, we develop and implement new formats for interaction and discussion of ideas. “Active Citizen” is one of the drivers of urban changes, so work on the development of the site will continue in the future, ”said Eduard Lysenko, Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the Moscow City Information Technology Department.
