Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, checked the training and material base and organization of vocational guidance in the Murmansk branch of the Nakhimov Naval School as part of his working trip to the Northern Fleet.

At the educational institution, Admiral Evmenov was shown the equipment of an underwater robotics classroom, where the Nakhimovites showed models that had already won prizes in competitions among pre-university catering establishments. Also, the Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy, Admiral Nikolai Evmenov, accompanied by the commander of the Northern Fleet, Admiral Alexander Moiseyev, examined the expositions deployed at the school on an ongoing basis and used in vocational guidance and military-patriotic work. In particular, the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy was shown expositions dedicated to the Northern War, the Petsamo-Kirkenes operation of 1944. Pupils of the Murmansk branch of the Nakhimov Naval Forces proudly demonstrated the Wall of Memory to the Navy, which contains photographs and information of their grandfathers and great-grandfathers who took part in the Great Patriotic War, an exposition dedicated to the outstanding naval commanders of the Russian fleet. The Commander-in-Chief of the Navy examined the electronic reading room at the school, where an access point to the Presidential Library funds is equipped.

Admiral Nikolay Evmenov also talked with the Nakhimovites, held a meeting with the teaching staff of the Murmansk NVMU on career guidance, checked the organization of the functioning of the sports complex, the hockey rink and the sports and recreation complex of the school, heard the leadership of this educational institution about the organization of maritime practice for the Nakhimovites.
