Now specialists are erecting the supports of the flyover and assembling the superstructure.

The construction of a section of the North-Eastern Expressway (SVH) from Yaroslavskoye to Dmitrovskoye shosse has been completed by 60 percent. This was announced by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Andrey Bochkarev.

“On one of the last sections of the North-Eastern Expressway, from Yaroslavskoe to Dmitrovskoe shosse, construction of artificial structures is being actively carried out: drilling of foundation piles and erection of racks of flyovers, erection of steel structures of superstructures, including the sliding method. In general, we estimate the readiness of the site at 60 percent, ”said the deputy mayor.

One of the key structures of this site will be denouement at the intersection of temporary storage warehouse and Prospekt Mira. Now 80 percent of the work has been completed on it, and it is planned to complete it next year.

“In addition, a 2.4-kilometer overpass is being built over the tracks of the Moscow Central Ring, as well as the Savelovsky direction of the Moscow Railways and the Oktyabrskaya Railway. At present, overpass supports are being erected at the facility and the superstructure is being erected both by the hinged mounting method and by the sliding method at the intersection with the railway, “added Andrei Bochkarev.

At one of the stages of this section of the North-Eastern Expressway, non-standard engineering solutions were required, since the task was to erect an extended superstructure over the MCC tracks without stopping traffic.

The overpass of the main passage intersects the tracks of two directions of the Moscow Railway at once and runs along the Moscow Central Circle, and on a half-kilometer stretch this engineering structure completely covers the third track of the MCC. To ensure uninterrupted traffic on an important form of transport for the metropolis, specialists have provided for the reconstruction of railway tracks according to a temporary scheme. For the period of construction, the trains were transferred to a specially paved track. Thus, the structure of the flyover can be erected quickly in safe conditions.

When construction on the site is completed, the load on the entire local road network will be significantly reduced. First of all, it will become easier to move along Altufevskoe, Dmitrovskoe and Yaroslavskoe highways, it will also affect Prospekt Mira, Selskokhozyaistvennaya, Botanicheskaya, Snezhnaya streets, Komdiva Orlova street and Signalny proezd.
