In the Historical and Memorial Hall of the Military Medical Academy named after S.M. Kirov (St. Petersburg), the traditional “Week of nature lessons”, organized by the Department of the Russian Language for Foreign Servicemen of the preparatory course, has come to an end.

The head of the exposition Konstantin Paliy and instructor Galina Leontyeva met in the historical and memorial hall of the Academy of future military medical specialists of foreign armies. They showed the main and most valuable exhibits of the museum – a vase presented by Emperor Alexander I to the first president of the Academy, Jacob Willie, the chair of the outstanding chemist and composer Alexander Borodin, a map of the first buildings of the Academy, one of the first microscopes, and much more.

Through unique historical documents and subjects, cadets get acquainted with the great history of the Medical-Surgical, Military Medical Academy.

Konstantin Paliy and Galina Leontyeva, with their reverent attitude to the subject, professionally verified stories about scientists, doctors, events and legends of the academy, aroused unconditional interest among representatives of different countries who are to receive education at the academy.

“We are happy that this meeting took place,” the officer from Algeria expressed in his essay the general opinion – an unusual lesson ended with a written work about what was understood and felt on that day.
