Marine units from the army corps of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF), which took part in the bilateral command and staff exercise (DKSHU) at the Opuk training ground in Crimea, marched to the point of permanent deployment in the city of Sevastopol.

In the near future, the servicemen will conduct a technical inspection of the equipment on the territory of the vehicle fleet of the military unit, after which they will continue to carry out combat training activities in accordance with the approved plan.

During the active phase of the DKSHU, the marines, in support of the artillery and army aviation of the Southern Military District, landed ashore, made a passage through mine-explosive obstacles using self-propelled demining units UR-77 and went on the offensive.

With skillful actions and tactically competent use of the attached units, the marines successfully completed their tasks and seized a bridgehead on a strategically important stretch of the coast on the Crimean peninsula.

The exercise was carried out in accordance with the plan of the control check of the Black Sea Fleet forces during the winter period of training in the general tactical concept of the check check of the Southern Military District.

More than 10 thousand servicemen took part in the active phase of the bilateral command and control system in Crimea and 1.2 thousand units of weapons and military equipment from the 58th combined-arms army of the Southern Military District, the Black Sea Fleet, the Caspian Flotilla and the airborne forces were involved. Including more than 40 warships and 20 support vessels.
