As the head of the Nakhimov Naval School, Vice Admiral Alexei Maksimchuk, said, “I would like to especially note the relevance of this exhibition within the walls of our school, the importance of popularizing domestic naval traditions, assistance in the cultural and patriotic education of the Nakhimovites, the formation of a decent idea of ​​the fleet in them, as well as high skill of the authors of the exposition in the field of photomaristics ”.

We would like to wish the pupils with honor and dignity to bear the proud title of Nakhimov, to enhance the best traditions of the Russian fleet – the pride and glory of our country, to reliably guard the interests of Russia, ”said Alexander Alyakrinsky, President of the Marine Photographic Collection Foundation.

The goal of photographers is to give the dream of the sea to those who have not yet had a chance to go on long voyages, and to give memories to those whose life is inextricably linked with ships and sailing ships.

The works of authorship presented at the exposition convey the beauty and power of sailing ships, immerse one in the romance of the sea and give new emotions.

The organizer of the photo exhibition is the Marine Photographic Collection Foundation. Authors: photographers Alexander Alyakrinsky, Alexander Kilmet, Yuri Maslyaev, artist-designer Rosita Ruiz – members of the Russian Geographical Society, members of the Russian Historical Society, members of the Creative Union of Russian Artists.
