A photo exhibition dedicated to the Day of Fire Protection of the Russian Federation was organized at the National Center for Crisis Management of the EMERCOM of Russia. The exposition presents the works of the photographer Stanislav Svechnikov – the operational duty department of information support of the TsUKS Moscow Region @luber_foto. The theme of fire and rescue is the leitmotif of his work.

To engage in an extreme hobby, Stanislav graduated from special courses for firefighters and acquired the necessary skills to work in personal protective equipment in an aggressive environment. He is the only photographer in Russia who can work together with firefighters in extreme conditions.

He already had to visit the most difficult fires, go out on calls together with fire and rescue units, at the risk of his life trying to break into the basements and attics of burning buildings.

He is attracted by the real male work and the real heroism of the fire brigade.

– The firefighters in the frame are not ordinary guys – colleagues. For me personally, they are real heroes. They don’t think about themselves. For them, every fire is a challenge, a struggle, and saving people is a priority. – says the photographer.

The exhibition will provide an opportunity to get an idea of the difficult everyday life of firefighters and rescuers, whose everyday hard work often remains unknown to the overwhelming number of ordinary people.

The shots from extinguishing fires and rescue operations, fire-tactical exercises are real works of art, in which modern heroes are close-ups.
