Cadets of the Pskov branch of the Academy of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia and students of secondary school No. 17 in the city of Pskov put in order the memorial graves in the Pskov region, where the territory of the salotopka was located during the Great Patriotic War.
Note that during the years of the German occupation, civilians were brought to the area of the salotopka for execution. At the site of the sallow and tannery in the Pskov region, the Nazis shot and tortured 2,500 people. The cadets, together with the schoolchildren, also put in order the monument to the Molotkov brothers, which is located in the same area.
– We know about the little heroes of the big war that they entered the fight against the invaders. Anatoly Molotkov was 17 years old, and Valery – 14. For two years the guys conducted sabotage activities against the Nazis: they damaged communication centers, cars, pasted leaflets. On May 15, 1943, the Molotkovs were tracked down. Almost a month after the arrest, the Nazis brutally tortured the guys, and then shot them. The feat of young patriots should not be forgotten, therefore it is so important that the monument to them always has order, and we, for our part, try to maintain it, – said Maxim Grigoriev, an employee of the personnel department of the Pskov branch of the Academy of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia, at the rally, which was organized after the order of burials during the Great Patriotic War.
