The decision is related to the reform of development institutions.

The functions of several liquidated development institutions (IDs) will be transferred to the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV). The resolution on this was approved by the Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

We are talking about the Agency for the Far East for attracting investments and supporting exports, the Agency for the development of human capital in the Far East and the Arctic, as well as the Fund for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic. These organizations worked to improve the investment climate in the macroregion, provided advice on relocation and employment. Now all this will be dealt with by the KRDV.

The transfer of functionality is taking place within the framework of the reform of development institutions, which Mikhail Mishustin announced in November last year. The transformation provides for the assessment of R&D in accordance with performance indicators, the consolidation of individual institutions, and the abolition of duplicate functionality.

The purpose of the reforms is to make these structures more effective and reorient them to achieve the national goals approved by the President of Russia.

The document will be published.
