Athletes from the Eastern Military District are in second place among teams of services and combat arms and military districts of the RF Armed Forces, and in third are the Airborne Forces.

Among the universities of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the team of the Tyumen Higher Military Engineering Command School named after Marshal of Engineering Troops A.I. Proshlyakov, athletes from the Military Training and Scientific Center of the Air Force “Air Force Academy named after Professor N.E. Zhukovsky and Y.A. M. Vasilevsky.

The Vladimir Pikalov Memorial Cup is held for the twelfth time, it was established by the Federal Directorate for the Safe Storage and Destruction of Chemical Weapons in honor of those killed in the disaster at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant on April 26, 1986. For the elimination of the consequences of the catastrophe V. Pikalov was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
