Teachers will get acquainted with modern teaching practices and technologies and develop their own lesson concepts on the theme “Music Lesson in the 21st Century”.

Acceptance of applications for the “New Music Teacher” competition has begun. Its participants can be teachers who constantly work in educational institutions subordinate to Department of Education and Science of the city of Moscow.

“We held this competition for the first time last academic year. Then every second music teacher in Moscow applied for participation: a total of 384 teachers from 345 educational organizations. This time, teachers will participate in the development of educational projects and concepts, compete in solving pedagogical problems, and also work in musical computer programs. This is a great chance to get acquainted with modern practices and technologies in the field of teaching music, share your experience and your vision of the school of the future, ”said the Deputy Head of the Moscow Department of Education and Science

To take part in the competition, you need to register on the website of the Moscow center by May 31 “Patriot.Sport”… Teachers will take part in trainings, business games, develop a lesson script in “Moscow Electronic School”and will fight in a blitz tournament.

The final of the competition will take place in November 2021. Teachers will present the methodological development “Music Lesson in the XXI Century” and answer questions from experts. Based on the results, the jury will form a list of winners who will be invited to a round table with the participation of leaders of the Moscow education system.

The teachers who took the first three places will be awarded valuable gifts and certificates for continuing education courses.
