Units of the Airborne Forces, which took part in the interspecific exercise with the troops of the Southern Military District (YuVO) on the Crimean Peninsula, continue to return to the points of permanent deployment (PPD).

The servicemen of the Pskov Guards Airborne Assault Formation, who took part in the exercise, began the transfer of personnel to the PPD by military transport aircraft from the Kirovskoe airfield in the Republic of Crimea to the Kresty airfield in Pskov. Combat and special equipment with crews follow in the PPD by military echelons.

In total, about 40 military echelons are involved in the redeployment of the Airborne Forces units, and more than 30 sorties of the Military Transport Aviation aircraft will be made, which will deliver the personnel and equipment of the Airborne Forces to the PPD.
