In the Moscow region, servicemen of the Red Banner Guards Tank Army of the Western Military District (ZVO) congratulated on Victory Day with a personal parade-concert of Fyodor Fedorovich Rykhlov, a 94-year-old veteran of the Great Patriotic War, and Alexei Grigorievich Ivanov, a 96-year-old Victory War veteran, in Moscow on June 24, 1945.

Servicemen in three specially equipped KamAZ and Ural vehicles deployed a full-fledged stage platform under the windows of the front-line soldiers. The veterans were able to enjoy the live music of the military orchestra, the singing of the combined military choir of the Kantemirovsk division, as well as a choreographic performance.

At the end of the speech, the veterans personally descended to thank the servicemen. The servicemen presented the front-line soldiers with memorable gifts, a set of products and a model of the T-80U tank in service with the Kantemirovsk division.

All participants of the congratulatory action were provided with personal protective equipment. Before going to the veteran, each serviceman underwent a comprehensive medical examination.

Rykhlov Fedor Fedorovich – retired colonel, born in 1926, at the age of 16 went to the front, participated in the Vistula-Oder strategic offensive operation, rose to the rank of colonel. On May 15, Fedor Fedorovich will celebrate his 95th birthday.

Retired Colonel Alexei Grigorievich Ivanov at the age of 16 went to the front, took part in the battle for Moscow and ended hostilities on the border of the Soviet Union. After the war, Alexey Grigorievich graduated from a military school and continued his military service in the tank regiment of the Kantemirovsky division of the Western Military District.
