A concert by the Soloists of Nizhny Novgorod orchestra will take place at Zaryadye. Under the direction of conductor Maxim Emelyanychev, the ensemble will performsymphonies by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozartwhich he created in 1788.
The history of the collective began in 1981 at the Gorky Conservatory. Now the “Soloists of Nizhny Novgorod” are known outside the region: they perform in Moscow, St. Petersburg, cities and capitals of Europe. The popularity of the orchestra is growing – it gives at least 60 concerts per season and performs with international-class soloists.
Maxim Emelyanychev is a laureate of international competitions as a harpsichord player and performer on a hammerklavier, a student of Gennady Rozhdestvensky. He collaborated with the renowned Italian early music ensemble Il Pomo d’Oro, as well as with Theodor Currentzis and his musicAeterna ensemble. In 2014, the musician was awarded the special prize of the Russian National Theater Award “Golden Mask”, in 2016 he received the main German music award Echo Klassik, and in April 2019 he became a laureate of the International Opera Awards.
