The military commissariat of the Primorsky Territory, as part of the spring draft for military service, sent the first teams of recruits to the troops. About 30 Primorye residents will join the military units of the Pacific Fleet and the formation of the Eastern Military District, stationed in the Ussuriysk garrison. In total, during the period of the current conscription, it is planned to send about 1,700 people from the region to military units.

The main features of the current appeal are the strengthening of measures to combat the new coronavirus infection. All employees of military commissariats working with conscripts were vaccinated. In addition, voluntary vaccination of conscripts has been organized before their arrival at the military registration and enlistment offices, through medical institutions in the places of residence.

At the assembly point of the region and regional commissariats, exhaustive measures have been taken to preserve the health of conscripts. A three-level system of barriers has been created, which implies regular testing and separation of flows of arriving citizens. For persons who are entitled to a deferral from conscription, separate reception hours are provided. The required number of medical masks and disinfectant solutions have been prepared. The newest test systems have been obtained, which make it possible to identify a patient with COVID-19, including those with an asymptomatic course of the disease, in 10-15 minutes. The gathering places for recruits are equipped with bactericidal irradiators and medical control posts.

On the day of departure, recruits are provided with the established uniform, hygiene items, a bank card for receiving cash allowances and food on the way to the duty station.

The spring conscription started in the VVO on April 1 and will end on July 15 of this year.
