The First Deputy Prime Minister held a meeting on monitoring and prompt response to changes in prices for socially significant consumer goods.

Following the discussion, the Ministry of Agriculture was instructed to continue work on concluding contracts for the supply of white sugar to the Russian Federation. Also, together with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, ensure the shipment of imported white sugar to retail chains, supplied within the established quota, with the provision of weekly reports to the Government on contracts concluded and deliveries in the network.

In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Federal Antimonopoly Service must promptly submit to the Ministry of Economic Development proposals on reducing the volume of buckwheat exports this year. The Ministry of Economic Development was instructed to consider this issue at the next meeting of the subcommittee on customs-tariff and non-tariff regulation, protective measures in foreign trade of the Government Commission on Economic Development and Integration.
