Starting this year, Russian exporters will be able to independently determine exhibitions, the costs of participation in which are partially compensated by the state. This new support measure was announced by the Russian Export Center (REC). Applications for participation in the program can be submitted from May 4.

Previously, exporters could also compensate for their participation in international events, but the program only extended to exhibitions and conferences from the list determined by the state. The organization of participation in them was supported by REC, including the construction of collective stands. Exporters can now independently choose and organize their participation. “We are improving our mechanisms, relying on the principle of customer-centricity, responding to the requests of our companies and giving them the freedom to choose an event,” emphasized the vice-president of REC Sergey Vologodsky.

Within the framework of the program, it is possible to compensate for the rental of exhibition space, equipment and payment of registration fees. The amount of support may amount to 700 thousand rubles for SMEs and 2 million rubles for large companies for one international event (no more than three per year). An indicator of the effectiveness of the use of funds should be the export contracts concluded by the company, the total value of which should exceed the amount of support provided by at least four times.
