A kind, cheerful and lively performance based on seven stories by Vasily Shukshin was staged by a young director Yulia Belyaeva. Genuine village life with its unique humor, simplicity, originality, recognizable images is born in the spherical space of the theater and becomes a bright, sparkling, colorful and very soulful performance.

The idea of creating the production appeared during the preparation of the creative evening “Spheres” at the Central House of Artists in the fall of 2014. As conceived by Yulia Belyaeva, this evening was based on Shukshin’s stories. The warm welcome and response of the guests inspired the creative team to continue this work and include it in the theater’s repertoire. The stories presented by the actors are full of joy of life, irony, and sometimes even drama. There is a lively, almost studio spirit in the play, which infects all the acting generations involved in it, and which is easily transmitted to the audience.

“Raskas”– Laureate of the XIII International Theater Forum “Golden Knight” in the nominations “Best Performance” (“Bronze Knight”), “Best Male Role” (gold diploma to A. Korshunov and P. Grebennikov).
