The finalists of the VII All-Russian interagency tournament in e-sports among students of pre-university educational organizations “Steel Wall-2021” have been determined.

54 teams from educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Investigative Committee, the Russian Guard, the Ministry of Emergencies, the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia fought for reaching the finals, many of which are not the first time participating in this competition.

Group “A” of the seventh grade was headed by the pupils of the branch of the Orenburg Presidential Cadet School (PKU), who secured the first place with 25 points. The second place was taken by the team of the Yekaterinburg Suvorov Military School (SVU). The remaining two tickets to the final went to the teams of the Perm SVU and Kyzyl PKU.

In group “B” the first place was taken by the cadets of the Stavropol PKU, ahead of the team of the Tula SVU by three points. The top three were completed by the team of the Kazan SVU.

In the age group of 10 grades, the finalists were also determined. In a tense struggle, the first place in group “A” was taken by the team of the Ussuriysk IED, and the second place was taken by the team of the Omsk military cadet corps, two points ahead of the team of the Kyzyl PKU. The winner of the 2019 bronze medal, the team of the branch of the Nakhimov Naval School (Vladivostok PKU) could not make it to the final.

In group “B” the teams of the Perm SVU of the Ministry of Defense and the Astrakhan SVU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia reached the final. The team from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia will take part in the final for the first time.

In group “C” the first place was taken by the team of the Stavropol PKU ahead of schedule. The second ticket to the final in a tense struggle went to the team of the St. Petersburg Cadet Military Corps.

In group “D” the fight for reaching the final continued until the last round. The teams of Petrozavodsk PKU and Tverskoy SVU made their way to the finals, taking first and second places, respectively.

The final of the VII All-Russian interagency tournament “Steel Wall-2021” will be held from 24 to 27 May in an online format.

The organization of the tournament is carried out by the Information Systems Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Information support, refereeing and organization of broadcasts of games throughout the qualifying stage is provided by the Association of Computer Sports.
