The formation of ships for the protection of the water area of ​​the Troops and Forces in the North-East of Russia (OKVS) has been replenished with one more newest anti-sabotage boat of the Grachonok project. Already the third boat of this type will serve in the squadron to combat sabotage forces and means of OKVS.

The boats of the project 21980 have been providing reliable protection of the bases of ships, vessels and submarines of the Pacific Fleet in Kamchatka for several years and have proven themselves perfectly in the difficult weather conditions of the region.

The new boat was built at the Vostochnaya Verf shipyard in Vladivostok. It is designed to combat underwater sabotage forces and means of the enemy, to support the actions of combat swimmers in the water area of ​​basing points and nearby approaches to them. “Rook” is equipped with modern electronic weapons and the latest diving complex, which allow you to detect and inspect underwater objects.

Basic tactical and technical data: Displacement – 138 tons, length – 31 m, width – 9.5 m, full speed – 23 knots, cruising range – 200 miles, autonomy – 5 days, crew – 8 people.
