The names of the winners and prize-winners of the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren in physical culture have become known. They were announced at Kursk State University. Eight pupils of Moscow schools received the winners’ diplomas, 16 Muscovites became prize-winners.
The final stage of the Olympiad was held from 24 to 30 April. More than 250 participants from 73 regions of Russia completed the tasks of the theoretical and practical rounds.
The absolute winner in the theoretical and methodological test was Mark Perinsky, an eleventh grader from School No. 1502 “Energy”. The most points in applied physical culture were scored by a pupil of the 11th grade of school № 2045 Artem Danich.

Muscovites have already won 96 diplomas of winners and prize-winners in mathematics and technology, 86 – by informatics, 82 – by Russian language, 72 – by literature, 49 – by astronomy, 75 – three each foreign languages, 50 – by ecology… By art awards were received by 59 Moscow schoolchildren, in physics – 77, right – 67, by stories – 64, and geography – 53.
The All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren is held in 24 subjects. The competition includes four stages: school, municipal, regional and final. To get to a new level, you need to collect a certain amount of points, which is set by the organizers of the Olympiad. In the municipal stage, pupils of the 7-11th grades participate, and in the regional and final – the 9-11th. Winners and awardees of the final stage can enter without exams in any Russian university in areas corresponding to the profile of the Olympiad.
