Off the coast of Kamchatka, a planned bilateral tactical exercise of the formation of water defense ships of the Troops and forces in northeastern Russia continues. Tactical groups of small anti-submarine ships and sea minesweepers operate at sea.

Two ship search and strike groups consisting of small anti-submarine ships “Ust-Ilimsk”, “Kholmsk”, “MPK-82” and “MPK-107” conducted joint artillery fire at sea and air targets in Avacha Bay.

In the first episode of the exercise, the target of the ships was a naval towed shield, which imitated a mock enemy’s surface ship.

In the second case, the ships fired at the parachute targets dropped from the aircraft, while the forces were controlled from the main command post of the formation.

The targets were fired from 76-mm AK-176M artillery mounts.
