As part of the third stage of the competition among the rear service units “Army Reserve”, taking place these days at the “Pesochnoe” training ground of the Ivanovo Guards Airborne Force, the best in their military specialty was determined by the cooks and bakers of the Airborne Forces.
Among the participants in the competition were the winners of the “Field Kitchen” competition of the International Army Games of the past years, like Guard Junior Sergeant Maria Bezukh, representing the Ussuriysk Separate Guards Airborne Assault Formation.
The best chefs and bakers of formations and military units of the Airborne Forces competed in the preparation of dishes with both an arbitrary and a fixed menu.
This year, the program of the competition for food service specialists was complicated, since the participants had to show their skills both in stationary and field conditions.
The winners of the Airborne Forces stage will represent the “winged guard” at the All-Army stage of the competition, which will be held at the end of May this year in the city of Volsk, Saratov Region.
