At the school of cooks of the Eastern Military District (VVO), stationed in the Trans-Baikal Territory, the district stage of the “Field Kitchen” competition, which is part of the “ARMI-2021” program, has come to an end.
Participants of the competition, representing the 15 strongest teams of the military district – cooks and bakers, competed in cooking and baking bakery products according to an arbitrary recipe from the set of products given out.
Also, culinary specialists must have shown their professional skills in preparing various dishes according to the established menu, the jury of the competition evaluated not only the correctness of preparation, but also the taste and aesthetic qualities when serving ready-made dishes.
The servicemen also demonstrated their skills in the use of small arms, cooks and bakers met the standards for fire and physical training.
The winners of the regional stage of the competition for professional skills of food service specialists “Field Kitchen”, this is a team from the Amur combined arms association, will represent the Eastern Military District at the all-army stage, which will be held this summer in the city of Volsk, Saratov region.
