The final stages in three disciplines were held in Moscow, Ufa and Nizhny Novgorod.
The final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren for the 2020/2021 academic year has ended. The last diplomas of winners and prize-winners were received by participants in competitions in biology, social studies and the basics of life safety (OBZH).
14 Muscovites became winners of the final stage in biology, 61 participants became prize-winners. The students demonstrated their knowledge in theoretical and practical tours. The competition took place in Ufa. More than 300 children from 79 regions of the country took part in it.
Participants of the final stage of social studies demonstrated their knowledge in Moscow. It was attended by over 250 schoolchildren from 73 regions of Russia. The stage consisted of three rounds: two written and one oral. 15 students of Moscow schools won the diplomas of the winners, 58 received the status of prize-winners.
Finalists of the All-Russian Olympiad for Schoolchildren in Life Safety fought for victory in Nizhny Novgorod. Participants completed assignments in theoretical and practical rounds. There are 11 Muscovites among the winners. 38 members of the Moscow team won prizewinning diplomas.
The absolute winner among ninth-graders was Maxim Didenko from school No. 2036. He scored the highest number of points.

The All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren is held in 24 subjects in four stages, including school, municipal, regional and final. To get to the next stage, you need to collect a certain number of points, which are set by the organizers. Students of the 7-11th grades are invited to the municipal one, to the regional and final grades 9-11th. The final will be held by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. Winners and prize-winners of the final stage have the right to enter any Russian university without exams in areas corresponding to the profile of the competition.
In addition to the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren, children can try their hand at the tournament named after M.V. Lomonosov, Moscow Olympiads in biology and genetics. Now this area of science is one of the key and rapidly developing ones.
Also, medical classes are open in the capital’s schools. Their main goal is to prepare children for the choice of their future profession. High school students study the basics of microbiology, biochemistry, anatomy, and even nanotechnology in medicine. In addition, schoolchildren learn to provide first aid, dressings and artificial respiration on electronic training simulators. Also at the disposal of students are educational electrocardiographs, telemedicine kits and digital simulators, which allow them to master the technologies that are used in city polyclinics and medical centers.
