Crews of operational-tactical and assault aircraft flew at an altitude of 200-300 m at a speed of 600 km / h, helicopters – at an altitude of 160-400 m at a speed of 80-180 km / h, military transport aircraft – at an altitude of 200 –350 m at a speed of 240–500 km / h.

The parade line included aircraft of the military transport aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces – Tu-134, An-26, An-12 and L-410, operational-tactical aviation of the Southern Military District – Su-24M, Su-27, Su-34, Su-30SM, attack aircraft Su-25, helicopters of the army aviation of the Southern Military District – Mi-26, Mi-8, Mi-35, Mi-28 and Ka-52.

Aircraft and helicopter crews are made up only of highly qualified specialists with a high level of flight skills and class qualifications.

All aviation involved in the air parade in Rostov-on-Don take off from six permanent airfields in the Rostov region and in the Kuban.

The next flight of aviation will take place at the dress rehearsal of the May 7 parade.
